LABOR ALLOWANCE

Inspect the Existing Electronic Engine Control (EEC) Processor and, if Necessary, Replace the Processor. Prepare and Attach an Authorized Modifications Label. Provide Emissions Recall - Proof of Correction Certificates for Owners of California Cars.

0.2 Hrs. - Insert in Box "A" on Form 1864

- Inspection and Processor Replacement

0.5 Hrs. - Insert in Box "B" on Form 1864

Note: Add 0.1 Hour Adiministrative Allowance to the total repair time.

CLAIM PREPARATION

In the MISC box on the 1864 claim, insert $100.00 for the processor core credit charge.


PARTS RETURN

A "Blue" FPS-700 Parts Disposition Tag will be issued to recall the removed processors. Return of processors with the FPS-700 tag attached must be shipped prepaid freight to the address on the reverse side of the tag. Claim for prepaid freight charges on an 1863 claim (Refer to Warranty and Policy Manual, Section 6.1, page 33).

Refer to the part return shipping procedure in Section 7.0, pages 10 and 11, of the Warranty and Policy Manual.

EXCESS STOCK RETURN

Excess stock returned for credit must have been purchased from Ford Parts and Service Division in accordance with Policy Procedure Bulletin 4000.
