The Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor converts a varying exhaust gas pressure signal into a proportional analog voltage that is digitized by the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA). The ECA uses the signal receives from the DPFE sensor to optimize the EGR flow.
