Free Play

Accelerator Cable Free Play Adjustment:

1. Warm engine to operating temperature and confirm correct idle speed.
2. Check for free play of 0.04 - 0.12 in (1 - 3 mm) at accelerator pedal.
3. If not correct, loosen locknut and adjust at cable housing bracket located near throttle body. Tighten locknut after adjustment.
4. Adjust wide-open throttle position.
