Cigarette Lighter: Description and Operation

When the Ignition Switch is in the ACCY or RUN position, current flows through the 15A CIGAR fuse to operate the Cigar Lighter. When the Cigar Lighter is depressed, the heating element contacts close causing the element to heat up and expand. When fully expanded, the heating element contacts automatically open.
