Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Righthand Engine Mount:

RIGHTHAND

1. Support engine assembly with a suitable floor jack.
2. Remove mount to engine bracket nuts, Fig. 1.
3. Remove mount through bolt.
4. Remove bracket to body bolts.
5. Remove mount.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

Fig. 2 Front Engine Mount:

FRONT

1. Support engine with engine support fixture tool No. D88l-6000-a, or equivalent.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove engine mount nuts from crossmember, Fig. 2.
4. Remove engine mount bolts from transaxle.
5. Remove mount.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

Fig. 3 Rear Engine Mount:

REAR

1. Support engine with engine support fixture tool No. D88l-6000-a, or equivalent.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove engine mount to crossmember nuts, Fig. 3.
4. Remove lefthand A-arm bolts. Remove engine support crossmember nuts and bolts.
5. Remove rear engine mount bolts and mount.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
