Camshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Camshaft Sensor Replacement:

The camshaft sensor is mounted on the intake side of the cylinder head left-hand corner. The sensor reads camshaft position and provides cylinder identification information for the fuel synchronization program within the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA).
