Intake Manifold: Description and Operation

Intake Manifold:

The intake manifold is mounted below the intake plenum and connects to the cylinder head. It receives air from the plenum and directs it to the valves and into the combustion chambers, where the air will mix with the vaporized fuel from the injectors. The fuel injectors, fuel rail, fuel injector wiring harness, and VICS solenoid valve are mounted on the intake manifold.
