Disassembly

Exploded View Of Differential:

1. Remove roll pin, then remove pinion shaft.
2. Remove pinions and thrust washers by rotating out of gear case.
3. Remove side gears and thrust washers.

Removing Differential Bearing Cone:

4. Remove bearing cone (speedometer drive gear end) using gear and pulley puller tool No. D80L-522-A, step plate D80L-630-3, bearing puller attachment tool No. D84L-1123-A and legs from push puller set tool No. D80L-927-A or equivalents.
5. Remove speedometer drive gear, then remove bearing cone (ring gear end) using puller tool No. T77F-4220-B1 and step plate tool No. D80L-630-3 or equivalents.
