Front

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheel.
2. Remove clip securing flexible brake hose to shock/strut assembly.
3. Remove two nuts and bolts securing shock/strut assembly to steering knuckle.
4. Remove upper mounting block nuts on strut tower, then remove shock/strut assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Position shock/strut assembly into wheel housing ensuring that direction indicator on mounting block faces inboard.
b. Torque upper mounting block to strut tower nuts to 22-30 ft lb. and shock/strut assembly bolts to 69-93 ft lb.
