Rear

1. Remove rear shock/strut assembly as described under REAR SHOCK/STRUT ASSEMBLY.
2. Position rear shock/strut assembly into a vise and secure assembly at mounting block.
3. Remove cap and loosen piston rod nut one turn. Do not remove piston rod nut at this time.
4. Install an appropriate coil spring compressor onto coil spring and compress spring.
5. Remove piston rod nut, washer, retainer and mounting block and coil spring.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque piston rod nut to 41-50 ft. lbs.
