Ignition Control Module: Description and Operation
The Ignition module uses a Transistorized Ignition Module 3-pin type (TI3) that relays spark control signals from the ECA to the coil. The module controls the current through ignition coil primary winding. The module turns current on between firing points to build up a magnetic field around the coil windings. It then turns the current off when signaled from the pulse generator.
