Fuel Injector Harness

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF.
3. Remove the air duct that connects the throttle body to the resonance chamber.
4. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness connectors.
5. Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector located to the right of the thermostat housing.
6. Disconnect the temperature gauge sending unit electrical connector located at the left of the thermostat housing.
7. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator solenoid valve electrical connector located on the intake manifold.
8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the VICS shutter valve solenoid.
9. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
10. Unclip the harness from the fuel rail and remove the harness.

INSTALLATION:

1. Clip the harness into its position on the fuel rail.
2. Connect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connectors into the fuel injectors.
3. Connect the VICS shutter valve solenoid electrical connector.
4. Connect the fuel pressure regulator solenoid valve electrical connector.
5. Connect the temperature gauge sending unit electrical connector.
6. Connect the ECT sensor electrical connector.
7. Connect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connectors.
8. Install the inlet air duct that connects the throttle body and the resonance chamber.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
