1. Remove distributor assembly, then remove camshaft pulley as described in CAMSHAFT PULLEY.
2. Remove seal plate, then loosen camshaft bolts in order shown in Fig. 10.
3. Remove camshaft caps noting their mounting locations for installation reference.
4. Remove camshaft and camshaft oil seal.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply clean engine oil to camshaft journals and bearings.
b. Ensure exhaust camshaft groove is installed into distributor drive gear.
c. Install camshaft caps according to cap numbers and arrow marks.
d. Install camshaft cap bolts and torque in sequence shown in Fig. 11 to 8-10 ft. lbs.
