ISSUE:
A vibration and resonance noise may come from the upper radiator mounts during idle. This usually occurs because the radiator mounts are not properly aligned.
ACTION:
Inspect and align the upper radiator mounts by using the following service procedure.
Figure 1:
1. Inspect the upper radiator mounts for proper alignment.
2. Check to see if the radiator stud is centered in the upper radiator mounts as shown in Figure 1.
3. If the mounts are not aligned correctly, proceed as follows:
a. Adjust the position of the upper radiator mounts, Figure 1.
b. If this doesn't completely eliminate the concern, adjust the position of the upper radiator hose so the radiator is in the correct position, Figure 1.
