This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to include the individual parts of the wind deflector.

ISSUE:
Damage to the wind deflector may result from the separation of the deflector connector and the deflector bracket.

ACTION:
Inspect and repair the wind deflector. Refer to the following repair procedure for service details.


1. Inspect the wind deflector assembly for damaged parts.





2. Pry the left side connector (F1CZ-58500A28-A) from the vehicle. Refer to Figure 1.

3. Twist the deflector bracket tabs inboard 1.0 mm as shown in View Z, Figure 1.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the right side connector.

5. Replace the damaged parts of the wind deflector assembly as required. Views of individual parts are shown in Figure 1.

6. Add adhesive to the slot of both connectors as shown in View W, Figure 1.

7. Install the wind deflector assembly.
