ISSUE: A loose interior trim rear hatch panel may be caused by inadequate retention. The panel will loosen around the rear latch assembly.

ACTION: Install two (2) push pins to hold the interior trim panel in place. Refer to the following procedure for service details.

Figure 1:

1. Open the rear hatch.

2. Drill two 6.0 mm holes into the trim panel at the locations shown in Figure 1.

3. Install two (2) push pins that match the interior trim panel color. Refer to the following push pin application chart for the correct part number and color.

NOTE: THE PUSH PINS SHOULD SEAT BEHIND THE LATCH ASSEMBLY, FIGURE 1.
