Main Shift Control Shaft

Removing 3rd-4th Shift Fork:





1. Rotate 3rd-4th shift fork until notch in fork is positioned over interlock sleeve.
2. Rotate 1st-2nd shift fork until notch in fork is positioned over selector arm finger. Slide 3rd and 4th fork and interlock sleeve off shaft.

Removing 1st-2nd Shift Fork:





3. Remove selector arm retaining pin, using a 5 mm punch, then the sector arm and 1st-2nd shift fork from shaft.
4. Remove fork control spring pin, using a 5 mm punch, then the fork control block from the shift control shaft.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Intalling Selector Arm:





a. Before installing retaining pin, ensure selector arm finger is aligned with oil relief flats on detent end of shift shaft.
