Removal
1. Remove safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt and rubber washer.
2. Slip finger behind D-ring cover and pull bottom of cover toward center of vehicle to dislodge it. Lift up to remove cover, exposing belt attaching bolt and remove bolt.
3. Adjust seat forward. Remove bolts retaining safety belt buckle and tongue.
4. Remove seat assembly.
5. Remove quarter trim panel.
6. Remove retractor mounting bolt. Remove outboard belt assembly.
7. Remove anchor bolt and washer from inboard (buckle end) belt assembly. (On LH side, disconnect buzzer wire.) Remove inboard belt assembly.





Installation
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Position belts as shown.
2. Tighten all retaining bolts to 30-43 Nm (22-32 lb-ft). Cycle system several times to ensure proper operation of retractor. Ensure webbing is not twisted.
