Air Injection Check Valve: Description and Operation

Pulse Air Check Valve:

The pulse air check valve allows air inlet from the air cleaner, through the silencer, and into the exhaust stream, at the exhaust manifold or at the catalytic converter. A reed valve inside the check valve opens to admit air and closes when exhaust pressure exceeds air cleaner air pressure.
