Air Diverter Valve: Description and Operation

Managed Pulse Air (MPA) System:

The pulse air diverter valve switches the pulse air upstream to the exhaust manifold and downstream to the catalytic converter. The valve is actuated by a vacuum signal from the pulse air solenoid.
