Air Door Actuator / Motor: Description and Operation

ELECTRIC BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR

The blend door actuator is mounted on top of the evaporator assembly. The control assembly sends signals to the actuator to control movement of the blend door. An electronic circuit receives signals and positions the blend door by means of an electric motor. A remote potentiometer relays blend door position information back to the control assembly.
