ISSUE: Clunking type noises during vehicle acceleration may be caused by loose or missing right hand engine mount bolts which were undertorqued during assembly. The mount bracketry and other engine mounts will continue to support the engine.
ACTION: Retorque loose engine mount bolts, replace any damaged or missing mount bolts. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
Figure 1:
The right hand engine mount bolt attaches the # 2 engine mount to the A/C compressor bracket. If the bolt is loose, inspect the bolt for damage, replace the bolt if damaged or, if it's missing, with the correct bolt (N605933-S101). Retorque the loose or replaced bolt to (120-127 ft.lbs.). Refer to figure 1.
