Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Remove oil dipstick and tube assembly.
2. Remove thermactor hardware, if equipped.
3. Disconnect exhaust manifold from exhaust pipe. Remove spark plug wires and spark plugs.
4. Disconnect oxygen sensor (HEGO sensor).
5. Remove mounting bolts and washers, then remove exhaust manifolds.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
