Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Whenever self-locking mounting bolts and nuts are removed, they must be replaced with new self-locking bolts and nuts.

1. Remove fan shroud attaching screws, then support engine using a jack and wood block placed below oil pan.
2. Remove bolts attaching insulators to front subframe.
3. Raise engine sufficiently with jack to disengage insulator from subframe.
4. Remove engine insulator and bracket assembly to cylinder block attaching bolts.
5. Remove engine insulator assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
