MANUAL LINKAGE ADJUST

Manual Linkage:

1. Loosen adjusting nut at transmission shift lever.
2. Place selector lever in overdrive, then hold selector lever in position by placing an 3-5 lb weight on lever.
3. Rotate transmission manual lever clockwise to low, then return it counterclockwise two detent positions to overdrive position.
4. Align flats of adjusting stud with flats of cable slot, then install cable on stud.

NOTE: Ensure not to push or pull on rod while assembling rod to stud.

5. Torque attaching nut and washer to 9-18 ft lbs.
6. Check shift lever for proper operation.
