ISSUE:
Outside door handle discoloration may be the result of wax accumulation on the handle. Normally the wax has been applied by the customer and is not easily removed.

ACTION:
Advise the customer to clean the plastic handles with Ford Custom Vinyl Protectant or equivalent. The customer should follow this cleaning procedure in the future.


CAUTION:
ADVISE THE CUSTOMER AGAINST BRUSHING THE HANDLE WITH HARD BRISTLES OR ANY PROCEDURE THAT REQUIRES APPLYING ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO THE HANDLES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLEANING.
