Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
This vehicle uses two types of clutch release systems. Turbocharged vehicles with type G transaxles use a mechanical cable system. Non-turbocharged vehicles with type F2 transaxles use a hydraulic clutch system.1. Disconnect hydraulic line from slave cylinder and plug to prevent fluid loss.
2. Remove two retaining bolts, then slave cylinder.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque retaining bolts to 12-16 ft lbs.
b. Fill reservoir and bleed clutch system.
