Clutch Switch: Description and Operation

Clutch Engagement Switch (CES):

The Clutch Engagement Switch (CES) detects if the clutch is ENGAGED and transfers an input signal to the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA). The ECA uses this input to monitor engine load and adjusts air/fuel mixture, idle speed, fuel pressure, purge flow, and A/C cutoff accordingly.
