1. Stowage of Rear Window Defroster Connector and Wiring Harness (for Hardtop)

To prevent the rear window defroster electrical wiring harness and connector from damaging the convertible top material, (when the convertible top is stowed) the following relocation of the harness is necessary.

^ Unclip the rear defroster wiring harness from the 3 clips on the left-hand side of the convertible top storage compartment.

^ Remove and discard these 3 clips.





^ Push the rear defroster wiring harness back in through hole in the storage compartment trim cover leaving only the connector visible. Refer to Figure 4.
