Sliding Door Glass Adjustment

To access, remove lower door trim panel.

1. If upper glass edge is in correct alignment to the siderail weatherstrip lip but is too high or low, adjustment of the up-stop bracket will alter the limit of glass upward travel.

2. If upper glass edge seal is not acceptable, the following glass adjustment will be necessary. Refer to Figure 28.

Adjustment Method A

^ Lower the sliding window.

^ Remove the two foam patches to expose regulator slider bolts.

^ Loosen the two regulator slider-to-window glass bolts. Refer to Figure 28, Item 3.

^ Adjust the window and tighten the two slider-to-window glass bolts. Figure 28, Item 4.

^ Check glass to siderail seal fit. Readjust as needed.

^ Install foam patches over access holes.

Adjustment Method B

^ Lower the sliding window.

^ Remove the upper trim panel.

^ Raise glass until two regulator slider window glass bolts are visible In upper access holes. Figure 28, Item 6.

^ Loosen bolts and adjust glass, as required.

^ Check glass to siderail weatherstrip.

NOTE:
With glass in up position inboard glass pressure around the rear of the glass in minimal, adjustment of the rear glass channel (Figure 28, Item 5) will not improve this condition and will result in binding glass during up and down travel.
