1. On all models except Town Car, disconnect wiring harness lead at switch connector.
2. Using a screwdriver, pry connector locator from holes in brake pedal support.
3. Unsnap switch hook from pin on dump valve adapter bracket, Fig. 12.
4. On Town Car models, unsnap hook from pin on ABS adapter.
5. Hold brake pedal down to gain access, then using needle nose pliers or equivalent, squeeze ears on switch mounting clip. Push clip through hole in dump valve adapter bracket, Fig. 13.
6. Remove attaching rear screw on ABS adapter bracket, then loosen second screw.
7. Rotate bracket, then remove switch and wire assembly.
8. On all models, using needle nose pliers or equivalent, squeeze ears on switch mounting clip, then push clip through hole in brake pedal support.
9. Remove switch by feeding switch harness through hole of brake pedal support bracket.
10. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Rotate switch and ensure mounting clip ears are completely engaged.
