Instrument Cluster - Finish Panel

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Engage parking brake.
3. Remove ignition lock cylinder.
4. If equipped with tilt column, tilt column to full down position and remove tilt lever.
5. Remove four bolts and cover and reinforcement assembly from under steering column.
6. Remove steering column trim shrouds. Disconnect all electrical connections from steering column multifunction switch.






7. Remove two screws retaining multifunction switch and remove switch.
8. Pull gear shift lever to the full down position.






9. Remove four cluster opening finish panel retaining screws, light switch knob and retaining nut.
10. Remove finish panel by pulling toward driver to unsnap snap-in retainers and disconnect wiring from switches, clock and warning lamps.
11. To install, reverse Steps 1 through 10.
