Rear Door Window Motor







Removal

1. Remove door trim panel and watershield. Doors

2. Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect motor wires at the multiple connector.

3. Mark door inner panel at center of each 1/2- inch diameter hole to be drilled with a center punch.

4. Check inside of door to make sure electrical wires are not in the way. Using 1/2-inch drill bit, drill three holes in inner door panel.

5. Working through the holes, remove the three motor and drive-to-regulator attaching screws. Disengage the motor and drive.

NOTE: If window is down, push against motor with screwdriver through drilled access holes. After motor and drive is disengaged, pull window up.

6. Remove motor and drive from door.

Installation

1. Position the motor and drive to the regulator and install the three screws snug-not tight.

2. Connect the motor wires at the connector and cycle the glass to ensure gear engagement. After the gears are engaged, tighten the three motor and drive attaching screws to specification.

3. Check the window operation.

4. Install plug in lower access hole drilled in door. This hole will not be covered by door trim panel. Install two pieces of Pressure Sensitive Waterproof Tape D6AZ-19627-A or equivalent tape over the upper access holes.

5. Install watershield and door trim panel. Doors
