Rear

1. Raise rear of vehicle and support at frame. Support rear axle with a suitable jack.
2. Remove rear stabilizer bar, if necessary.
3. Disconnect shock absorbers at lower mountings.
4. On 1989-91 models, disconnect brake line from rear brake hose and remove hose to bracket clip.
5. On all models, Lower axle to remove springs. On some models, it may be necessary to disconnect RH parking brake cable from righthand upper arm retainer prior to lowering axle.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Install an insulator between upper seat and spring, if necessary. Tighten to specifications.
