Front Retractor and Harness Assembly

REMOVAL






1. Remove plastic cap, bolt lock washer, spacer and washer at seat belt guide bar then slide guide bar out of bushing.
2. Slide seat belt harness out of guide bar.






3. Pull seat belt harness cover off to remove anchor bolt.
4. Remove rear quarter or "B" pillar trim panel.






5. Remove bolt securing seat belt retractor.
6. Remove retractor and harness assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Position retractor and harness assembly and install seat belt retractor bolt. Tighten bolt to 39 Nm (29 ft lbs).
2. Install rear quarter or "B" pillar trim panel.
3. Install seat belt harness anchor bolt and cover. Tighten anchor bolt to 45 Nm (34 ft lbs).
4. Slide seat belt harness onto guide bar.
5. Insert guide bar into floor bushing then install washer, spacer, lock washer bolt and plastic cap. Tighten bolt to 39 Nm (29 ft lbs).
