The speed control system consists of operator controls, a servo (throttle actuator) assembly, speed sensor, main On/Off switch, clutch switch, stop lamp switch, neutral switch and the control unit.
To operate the speed control system, the engine must be running and the vehicle speed must be greater than 30 mph. When these conditions have been met, the system is ready to accept a speed signal, Fig. 85.
