Front -- Two Door Models

NOTE: The illustrations show the front safety belt, shoulder harness, inboard and outboard locations. Seat Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A or equivalent should be used for safety belt bolt removal and installation.

Removal
1. Remove safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt and rubber washer.
2. Slip finger behind D-ring cover and push bottom of cover toward center of vehicle to dislodge it. Lift up to remove cover, exposing belt attaching bolt and remove bolt.
3. Remove rear seat lower and upper cushions.
4. Remove quarter trim panel.
5. Remove plunger assembly bezel. Press in and twist plunger 90 degrees to remove from quarter panel.
6. Remove retractor mounting bolt. Remove outboard belt assembly.
7. Remove anchor bolt and washer from inboard (buckle end) belt assembly. (On LH side, disconnect buzzer wire.) Remove inboard belt assembly.

Installation
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Position belts as shown.
2. Tighten all attaching bolts to 30-43 Nm (22-32 lb-ft). Cycle system several times to ensure proper operation of retractor. Ensure webbing is not twisted.
