Front -- Four Door Models

Removal
1. Remove safety belt anchor-to-sill cover.
2. Remove bolt and washer.
3. Slip finger behind D-ring cover and push bottom of cover toward center of vehicle to dislodge it. Lift to remove cover and attaching bolt.
4. Remove B-pillar upper trim panel attaching screw and the panel.
5. Remove front and rear sill attaching screws and one screw from B-pillar lower trim panel. Remove lower trim panel.
6. Remove plunger assembly bezel.
7. Remove safety belt retractor bolt and outboard safety belt assembly from vehicle.
8. Remove anchor bolt and washer from inboard (buckle end) safety belt assembly. (On the LH side, disconnect buzzer wire.) Remove buckle end safety belt assembly.

Installation
1. Reverse removal procedure. Position belts as shown in the illustration.
2. Tighten all attaching bolts to 30-43 Nm (22-32 lb-ft). Cycle system several times to ensure proper operation of retractor. Ensure webbing is not twisted.
