Low Pressure Too Low & High Pressure Normal or Too Low

Test Results
1. Air at center vent nozzle only slightly cooler.
2. Severe condensation and icing on receiver/dryer and refrigerant line to evaporator.

Cause
High pressure side of A/C system is blocked. There is a construction or blockage in a refrigerant line or the receiver/dryer, preventing the flow of refrigerant to evaporator and causing the compressor to induce a vacuum.

Correction
1. Drain A/C system.
2. Replace defective parts causing blockage in condenser, receiver/dryer, or refrigerant lines between compressor, condenser and evaporator.
3. Evacuate and fill A/C system.
4. Perform operational test.
