Oil Pump: Service and Repair

Fig. 14 Removing Oil Pump:

1. Remove oil pan as previously described.
2. Remove oil pickup tube and screen support bracket nut from No 4 main bearing cap, Fig. 14.
3. Remove two oil pump attaching screws and the oil pump.
4. Remove oil pump intermediate shaft.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
