Control Arm Bushing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove control arm as previously described.
2. Using drawbolt T78P-5638-A1, receiver cup T85M-5638-A2, a 7/16 inch 20 UNF hex nut and a 7/16 inch flat washer, or equivalents, remove larger control arm bushing.
3. Using drawbolt T78P-5638-A1, receiver cup T85M-5638-A1, a 7/16 inch 20 UNF nut and a 7/16 inch flat washer, or equivalents, remove smaller control arm bushing.

INSTALLATION

1. Lubricate bushings with non petroleum lubricant.
2. Using drawbolt T78P-5638-A1, replacer cup T85M-5638-A3, a 7/16 inch 20 UNF nut and a 7/16 inch flat washer, or equivalents install new larger control arm bushing.
3. Using drawbolt T78P-5638-A1, replacer cup T78P-5638-A3, a 7/16 inch 20 UNF nut and a 7/16 inch flat washer, or equivalents, install new smaller control arm bushing.
