Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Engine Mount Replacement:

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove engine mount to crossmember attaching nuts, then lower vehicle.
3. Remove mount-to-support bracket attaching nuts, Fig. 1.
4. Raise engine using a jack and remove mounts.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torquing mount attaching nuts to specifications. Ensure upper locating pins align with holes in support bracket during installation.
