ISSUE: The Removal and Installation procedures for the M5R2 Manual Transmission were not available at time of publication for Section 16-20 of the 1989 Thunderbird Shop Manual. Also, the Removal and Installation procedures for the AOD Automatic Transmission have been revised for the 1989 Thunderbird Shop Manual.
ACTION: Refer to the pages following this TSB article for the Removal and Installation procedures for the M5R2 Manual Transmission and the revised Removal and Installation procedures for the AOD Automatic Transmission.
