Door/Trunk Ajar Indicator/Lamp: Description and Operation

If the door is ajar, the shoulder belt will remain in the forward position at the A-pillar. The door ajar indicator located in the instrument panel will illuminate until the door is fully closed and the shoulder belt is in the locked position at the B-pillar.

WARNING: THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN UNLESS THE DOORS ARE FULLY CLOSED AND THE SHOULDER BELTS ARE IN THE LOCKED POSITION AT THE B-PILLAR.
