Windshield Wiper Switch

FRONT

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel as described under ``Steering Wheel and Horn Sounder, Replace.''
3. Remove combination switch as described under ``Combination Switch, Replace.''

4. Remove turn signal/headlamp switch lever retainer attaching screws, then carefully remove lever from combination switch, Fig. 8. Use care not lose lever detent balls.

5. Remove wiper switch to combination switch attaching screws, then remove wiper switch, Fig. 9.

6. Remove wiper switch lever from combination switch, Fig. 10. Use care not lose O-ring, retaining pin detent plunger and spring.
7. Reverse procedure to install.

REAR

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper switch from instrument panel by gently prying on outer edge of switch.
3. Disconnect electrical connector and remove switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
