Idle Up Control Valve: Description and Operation

The idle-up solenoid for electric load is partially controlled by the ECA. On deceleration and during high altitude operation, the ECA uses the E/L solenoid to provide increased air flow to the intake plenum. At all other times the E/L solenoid is controlled by the idle-up control module.
