Distributor, Disassemble

1. Remove screw attaching rotor to upper shaft, then pull rotor outward, Fig. 18.
2. Remove two attaching screws, stator plate and magnet.
3. Pull the armature and pin from the upper shaft using tool D80L-1002-L or equivalent.
4. Remove wires from module noting their position for correct installation.
5. Remove two screws, module and two spacers.
6. Loosen attaching screw, then remove noise suppressor from distributor housing.
7. Remove screw attaching vacuum diaphragm to plate assembly.
8. Remove diaphragm.
9. Remove attaching screws, then the plate assembly.
10. Remove rubber cap from inside upper shaft.
11. Mark position of upper shaft in relation to the lower shaft for correct installation.
12. Remove attaching screw, upper shaft and washer.
13. Remove four springs, noting their positions for correct assembly.
14. Remove weights from lower shaft.
