Distributor, Assemble

1. Install weights onto lower shaft assembly.
2. Install four springs onto weights and lower shaft into position noted during disassembly.
3. Position washer and upper shaft onto lower shaft, then align marks made previously. Secure assembly using attaching screw.
4. Install rubber cap into upper shaft.
5. Install plate assembly using two attaching screws.
6. Install vacuum diaphragm.
7. Secure diaphragm rod to plate assembly.
8. Install two sleeves and module with attaching screws.
9. Install noise suppressor onto distributor housing.
10. Install distributor harness onto distributor base and connect module wires in position noted during disassembly.
11. Using a suitable socket and the palm of your hand, press armature and pin onto upper shaft until it bottoms against shoulder of upper shaft. The stamped letters on the armature should be facing upward.
12. Position permanent magnet and stator plate assembly. Install two attaching screws finger tight.
13. Center stator plate to achieve an even gap onto both sides of the armature, then tighten attaching screws.
14. Install rotor onto upper shaft and secure using attaching screw.
