INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REPAIR CODE "A" PARTS

FIGURE D:

1. Remove the ventilation hose from the rocker cover and air inlet duct. (Figure D.) (This hose will not be reused.)

NOTE: Retain one of the hose clamps from the vent hose for step # 5.

2. Install the ventilation hose from Repair Code "A" part kit onto the "breather pipe" with its white mark directed upward. Position hose clamp "B" with the clamp facing down. (Figure E.)

3. Install the sealing cap onto the rocker cover at the position where the previous ventilation hose was removed. (Figure F.)

4. Apply a light coat of clean engine oil to the gaskets of the "breather pipe" and oil filler cap; position the "breather pipe" as Illustrated. Install the oil filler cap through the "breather pipe" and tighten. (Figure F.)

5. Install hose clamp "A" (from step # 1) on the ventilation hose near the white dot. Insert the ventilation hose on the air inlet duct with the white mark up and reposition hose clamp "A" (re-used).
