This article is being republished in its entirety to expand the model application to include the 1988 Festiva.

ISSUE: To minimize potential paint damage from installation of the rear license plate to the back panel on 1987 Tracers (Canada only), 1988 Tracers and 1988 Festivas, a rear license plate installation kit has been released. The rear license plate installation kit is inside the glove compartment of each vehicle.


ACTION: When installing the rear license plate, use the installation kit inside the glove compartment and the installation instructions provided with the kit.

NOTE: If the license plate kit is missing, it is serviced and may be ordered.
